Our Mission
Our mission is to provide value to our investors through guidance, based on market knowledge, experience and collaboration.

We seek to create wealth through industrial real estate development and investment while dealing in fairness, integrity, accountability and transparency.

About Us
Brass Cap Development was founded in 2015 when four partners identified a growing need for industrial space in the Las Vegas Valley.

Brass Cap Development has now developed nearly half a million square feet of industrial space across multiple states with another half million in the development pipeline for 2020. We credit our success to the pride we take in building trusting relationships, maintaining integrity and delivering exceptional quality.

The ability to leverage our team's deep experiences in identifying underserved markets has allowed us to expand our footprint while continuing to differentiate our business model. Our intuition allows us to listen to the needs of businesses and discover innovate ways to deliver quality projects. We strive to positively impact development in our local communities and solidify our foothold as a regional industrial leader.

Our Team
Our partners each have complementary skill sets that provide the team with an "assembly line" mentality; each partner is able to focus on their independent strengths while also keeping an eye on the bigger picture.

“One of my favorite aspects of this business is the opportunity for alchemy; the ability to look at a vacant parcel of land like a canvas upon which you can create a vision and manifest it into a reality. We live in a unique city where the landscape is constantly changing. Brass Cap gets to be a part of the construction of the fabric of what makes this community our home. There is a feeling of pride of being a part of a legacy and writing a page in the history of real estate. I’m very excited for what the future holds for our company.”

Michael is responsible for business development, financial analysis, debt and equity, acquisition, disposition and investor relations.

Michael started his real estate career in 1988 at Nevada Title Company in the Commercial Escrow Department. At the age of 22, Michael orchestrated land assemblages for local homebuilders and shortly thereafter started raising private equity to acquire strategic commercial properties via syndications through his company, LandBaron Investments. Michael’s companies have been involved with the development of mixed-use, office, industrial, retail, resort, master-planned communities and digital billboards throughout the Western U.S.

He has managed a $500mm portfolio and has acquired and disposed of $1B in real estate assets as a principal. Michael has strong industry relationships from over 30 years in real estate and his education includes CCIM courses, Choice Center Leadership University, Harvard Executive Business School Courses – Real Estate Finance, and UNLV.

"I was born to be a developer and contractor, it’s in my blood. Loving what I do is important to me and I have always believed that honesty, diligence and hard work breed success. Brass Cap lives by that edict, and that’s the main reason why I’m proud to have Mike, Jason and Tim as my partners."

Larry Monkarsh brings an in-depth knowledge and innate understanding of all phases of development and construction to the Brass Cap Development team.

As a third-generation contractor and developer, Larry Monkarsh learned the industry from the ground up. After moving to Las Vegas in 1995 to spearhead his family’s development and construction company in Southern Nevada, Larry began to study the Las Vegas landscape.

In 1996, Larry launched his own business, L M Construction Company. The company has since gone on to build more than seven million square feet of big box, mid-bay and flex space throughout Southern Nevada. Larry’s versatility, strong industry relationships, exceptional market knowledge, and ability to see a project through to fruition are all valuable assets to the Brass Cap team.

Larry is a member of various organizations including the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach.
